Submit your SVU application and indicate eligible service in the CREST section.

Document the experience, training, or service you want evaluated for credit.

SVU evaluates your portfolio and awards credit before classes begin.

For veterans

GI Bill® + CREST. A full year of school already earned.

CREST recognizes up to 30 credits for documented military service. Combined with GI Bill® funding for tuition and housing, you can start your SVU degree with the first year already complete, debt-free, and credentialed.

SVU is Yellow Ribbon eligible. Talk to a veteran advisor to map your specific combination of CREST credit, GI Bill®, Title IV aid, and SVU scholarships.

For returned missionaries

Your mission already counted. Now it counts in credits.

Up to 24 credits for documented full-time religious or missionary service. Add up to 12 more credits through FLATS testing for any language you learned in the mission field.

The combined 36 credits put you a year into your degree before your first day on campus. SVU's residential community and faith-aligned mission give you a place to land, work, and grow.
